Do you issue invoices?

Yes, an invoice will be issued in GB Pounds. Cleared funds must be received prior to the first lesson of each course or block booking.

What are the payment methods?

Invoices to be paid by bank transfer to the bank account specified on the invoice.

Do you offer a trial lesson?

Yes, New students receive a free one hour trial lesson. Subsequent lessons are booked in blocks of 8.

How long does each course last?

Courses are booked in blocks of 8 lessons, which must be used within 10 weeks. Special allowances are made for holidays. Courses are held online or in-person in Winchester, UK.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Learners must give a minimum of 24 hours notice to move or cancel a lesson. Every effort will be made to find an alternative slot that same week. I reserve the right to charge the full cost of the lesson if the 24 hour cancellation notice period is not respected.

Do you prepare students for exams?

I’m happy to discuss each student’s requirements to fulfill their learning goals. Although I’m not a formally recognised examiner, I can assist in the preparation of IELTS, Cambridge Exams, TOEFL and DELF.

What teaching methods do you follow?

All my lessons are bespoke and adapted to your needs and interests. I use a wealth of resources from coursebooks, textbooks and printed exercise sheets to podcasts, YouTube clips and web links.

What age groups do you teach?

I teach adults and students aged 16+

Which online platforms do you use?

Lessons take place primarily using Skype and Zoom. Facebook messenger, Whatsapp and Microsoft Teams may also be used. Each learner has access to a personal and interactive OneNote Notebook that contains resources, lesson plans and vocabulary sheets.
